FAQ

How is the liquid diluted initially?

Fill the tank (container) with water, then add the required amount of undiluted solution while stirring.
* If the above-mentioned dilution order is reversed (undiluted solution is added first and water is added later), the undiluted solution, especially the emulsion type, will not dissolve evenly and it may affect the life expectancy of the solution.

How is the solution replenished?

Refill the tank with a diluted solution of a lower concentration than that already being used. This will help maintain the proper concentration and make the solution last longer.
* Do not refill the tank with water only. It will cause the solution to deteriorate. Be sure to replenish the diluted solution, even if it is a low concentration.

Rust occurred.

This indicates a possible decrease in the concentration or deterioration of the solution. Increase the concentration or add an anti-rust additive.

Aluminum is discolored.

If it discolored black, the pH of the cutting fluid may have become high.
Add an aluminum corrosion inhibitor, or consider changing to a product that prevents aluminum discoloration.
If it discolored white, it is possible that there is product residue on the surface of the workpiece. Please clean workpieces as soon as possible after processing.

Copper alloy is discolored.

If it discolored black, it may be affected by the sulfur-based extreme pressure additive. Also, if the pH of the product is high, green copper oxide may occur. Add a copper corrosion inhibitor, or consider changing to a product that prevents copper alloy discoloration.

There is a smell.

Decreased concentration or increased oil contamination may cause the liquid to decompose. Increase the concentration or add an antibacterial agent.

It foams too much.

The concentration is too high, or it may be caused by the machine specifications. Add an antifoaming agent, or consider changing to a low-foaming product.

Emulsified liquid separates.

The concentration is too high, or it may be caused by oil contamination. It may be possible to adjust the emulsion with an emulsifier, but in general, the liquid needs to be renewed.

Hands get chapped.

The concentration may be too high, or there may be other factors such as the user's physical condition. Reduce the concentration to a level that does not affect processability. Protect your skin with hand cream, and consider wearing protective gloves.

There is an increase in floating oil.

There is a possibility that machine oil, etc. is leaking. Check for leaks.

White scum is floating on the liquid surface.

Metallic soap may be formed due to the high hardness of the diluted water.
Check the water quality and consider changing to a product with high stability for hard water.

How to store the product.

Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. In winter, please avoid places with low temperature as it may freeze. Also, be careful not to introduce foreign substances when opening the bottle.

Disposal precautions

Disposal methods vary depending on the product. Please check the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for each product, and then consign it to a disposal company as industrial waste. Do not dispose of the product in sewers or rivers.

If you find any abnormalities...

Please contact us and inform us about the condition of the abnormality and the usage conditions.
If possible, collect a sample of the liquid at the time the abnormality occurred and send it to us.
Please check if there have been any changes in processing conditions, workpiece, storage method, etc. before and after the abnormality occurred.
